The Congress will also be attended by the German Society for Surgery of the Hand (DGH) as a guest society and it is expected to be a congregating and diverse congress, from an academic, institutional and scientific point of view, with the guaranteed presence of several Latin American hand surgery scientific societies. The Congress has already the scientific pattronage of the Portuguese Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SPCPRE), and also awaits endorsment from FESSH.

Prestige and scientific quality will be one of the pillars of the congress, resulting in a programme that includes high quality presentations and debates, with the presence of key-opinion leaders, addressing the latest innovations in hand surgery, in balance with an historical framework with tribute to the pioneers of this area.
